The STEDI ST-X 50" LED Light Bar – Professionally Fitted by AAV4x4 is a powerful mid-to-long-range lighting upgrade designed for highway driving, remote touring and night travel where strong forward visibility is essential.

Using 20 reverse-facing 15W LEDs, the ST-X produces up to 10,000 lumens at a natural 5000K colour temperature. Its tightly controlled beam reaches 1 lux at 941 metres in full-power mode, with minimal light concentrated immediately in front of the vehicle. This makes it particularly effective at driving speeds where long-range visibility is more valuable than broad near-field illumination.

This product includes the STEDI ST-X 50" light bar, mounting hardware, high-beam wiring equipment and professional installation by AAV4x4. Once fitted, the system is tested and ready for use.

Focused Mid-to-Long-Range Beam

The ST-X 50" is designed primarily for forward visibility rather than near-field spread. Its hooded reflector system produces a concentrated beam that projects well beyond the vehicle, making it particularly suitable for highways, open roads and faster-moving tracks.

The controlled 15-degree vertical spread reduces wasted light above and below the useful driving area. It also helps minimise distracting reflections from roadside and overhead signs. The 30-degree horizontal spread provides useful coverage across the road while maintaining strong long-distance intensity.

Full-Power and Limited-Power Modes

The light bar supports two output levels to suit different operating requirements:

  • Full-power mode: 271.68W, 10,000 lumens and 1 lux at 941 metres
  • Limited-power mode: 33W, 2,168 lumens and 1 lux at 433 metres

The dual-output design provides the option of maximum long-range performance or a reduced output when full power is not required.

Amber and White Position Lights

Separate LEDs within the housing provide an integrated parking and position light function. The position light can operate in either:

  • Amber: 1500K
  • White: 6000K

The concealed placement of these LEDs produces a consistent line of light across the light bar, adding a distinctive appearance while improving vehicle visibility.

Designed for Harsh Conditions

The ST-X light bar uses an extruded 6063 aluminium housing with an anodised polyester powder-coated finish. Its optical-grade hard-coated LEXAN lens is designed to withstand demanding road, touring and off-road conditions.

A built-in breather allows internal pressure to equalise during rapid heating and cooling cycles. The housing is rated to IP68 for protection against dust and water, while pulse-width-modulation thermal management helps control operating temperature.

Professional Installation by AAV4x4

AAV4x4 professionally mounts, wires and tests the light bar on the vehicle. Installation includes connection to the vehicle's high-beam circuit using the supplied STEDI Easy-Fit wiring equipment and a compatible HB3 or H4 piggyback adapter where applicable.

The light bar is positioned and secured using the supplied side, sliding or brace-support brackets as appropriate for the installation. Final mounting location and bracket selection depend on the vehicle and available mounting structure.

Important: The ST-X beam pattern prioritises mid-to-long-range illumination and produces relatively little light within approximately the first 80 metres. It is best suited to applications where strong forward projection is required rather than broad close-range lighting.
