This complete supply-only UHF communication package combines the GME XRS-330C super-compact 80-channel UHF CB radio, a 970mm elevated-feed antenna, an AM303 stainless-steel antenna mounting bracket and an illuminated XRS-RJ45R6 microphone pass-through adaptor.
The compact radio body can be concealed behind the dashboard or mounted in another suitable protected cabin location. The controller microphone incorporates the display, speaker and primary controls, while the RJ45 pass-through adaptor provides a neat fixed connection point within a suitable dashboard, console or flat interior panel.
The supplied 6.6dBi elevated-feed antenna is suitable for compatible bull-bar tubes, mirror supports, roof bars and other appropriate mounting locations when installed using the included stainless-steel clamp bracket.
This package is supplied unfitted for installation by a suitably experienced person.
The XRS-330C uses a super-compact hideaway radio chassis designed for installations where dashboard and cabin space are limited.
Because the display, speaker and operating controls are incorporated into the controller microphone, the main radio body can be mounted discreetly behind the dashboard, beneath a console or in another suitable protected interior location.
The radio provides Australian 80-channel UHF CB operation with up to 5 watts of transmission power.
It is suitable for communication during:
Actual communication range varies according to terrain, antenna position, installation quality, surrounding structures, atmospheric conditions and the equipment used by the other station.
The supplied MC664B controller microphone incorporates the radio display, primary controls and speaker into one compact handheld unit.
Its high-contrast anti-glare OLED screen displays channel and operating information clearly, while the front-facing 2-watt speaker directs received audio toward the vehicle occupants.
User-customisable buttons allow selected radio functions to be assigned for faster access.
Bluetooth wireless connectivity allows the radio to connect to a compatible smartphone running the XRS Connect application.
Supported functions include:
A smartphone is not required for normal UHF CB operation. The radio can be controlled directly through the supplied controller microphone.
The XRS platform supports compatible software updates through the XRS Connect application. This allows available improvements and supported functions to be installed without replacing the radio hardware.
The package includes the AE4018BK1 black elevated-feed UHF CB antenna. It measures 970mm in overall length and provides 6.6dBi gain.
The elevated-feed design raises the active antenna element above the mounting point and nearby vehicle bodywork, making it suitable for compatible bull-bar, mirror-frame, roof-bar, gutter and fender mounting positions.
The 6.6dBi configuration concentrates more of the transmitted and received radio signal toward the horizon. It is particularly suited to relatively flat and open environments such as highways, regional roads, agricultural areas and open touring routes.
A compatible lower-gain whip may be preferred in steep or rapidly changing terrain where a broader radiation pattern is required. Alternative antenna whips are not included.
The antenna uses a ground-independent design and does not rely on a large conductive vehicle-body ground plane for normal operation.
This makes it suitable for compatible bull bars, mirror brackets and other mounting locations where the available ground-plane area may be limited.
The antenna uses a fibreglass whip covered with black heat shrink and incorporates a heavy-duty braided copper element.
A black barrel-style stainless-steel spring allows controlled movement when the antenna is exposed to vibration, rough roads, branches and other normal vehicle operating conditions.
The antenna lead is supplied with a pre-terminated FME connector. Its compact size assists with routing the coaxial cable through suitable vehicle openings before the larger radio-side connector is fitted.
An FME-to-PL259 adaptor is included for the final connection to the radio.
The supplied AM303 clamp bracket provides a practical mounting point for the antenna on a compatible external mirror support, roof bar, bull-bar tube or other suitable tubular vehicle structure.
The bracket features:
The mounting structure must provide sufficient strength and clearance for the 970mm antenna. The bracket must be tightened evenly without damaging or distorting the vehicle mounting point.
The XRS-RJ45R6 universal Type 6 pass-through adaptor provides a fixed connection point for the controller microphone in a suitable dashboard, centre console or other flat interior panel.
This creates a cleaner installation than leaving the microphone extension cable hanging beneath the dashboard. The microphone can be connected or removed without needing to access the concealed radio body.
The pass-through adaptor uses a CAT.6-compliant, fully shielded housing designed to minimise radio-frequency interference.
Lateral supports at the front and rear help stabilise the RJ45 connection and reduce movement of the plug during vehicle operation.
The adaptor incorporates red LED backlighting, making the microphone connection easier to locate inside the vehicle at night.
The illumination uses a separate two-wire connection. The red wire connects to a compatible 12V dashboard-light circuit, while the black wire connects to the negative circuit.

| Installation | Supplied unfitted |
This package is supplied unfitted. Installation requires suitable radio and antenna mounting locations, correctly protected power wiring, careful coaxial-cable routing and an appropriate dashboard or panel cut-out for the RJ45 adaptor.
The supplied radio power lead is intended for a compatible 12V electrical supply. Installation in a 24V vehicle requires a suitable regulated 24V-to-12V power supply, which is not included unless separately specified.
The RJ45 adaptor’s red illumination requires a compatible 12V dashboard-light circuit.
The radio body and internal electrical connections must be installed in a suitably protected cabin location.
Confirm that the antenna bracket fits the intended tube or mirror support before installation. The antenna must be positioned clear of doors, body panels, wiring and other vehicle accessories.
Communication range cannot be guaranteed and varies according to terrain, antenna position, installation quality, surrounding structures, atmospheric conditions and the equipment used by other stations.
