The AAV4x4 Kinetic Subframe Package is a compact, professionally installed chassis and water storage system designed specifically for short wheelbase (SWB) Fuso Canter FGB71 vehicles.

Combining the proven AAV4x4 kinetic subframe with a 200-litre food-grade water tank, this package provides reliable onboard water storage while protecting your tray or canopy from the stresses created by chassis articulation during off-road use. The complete system is professionally installed at our Brendale workshop, including the subframe, tank, plumbing, electrical controls, water pump and mounting hardware.

This is the same proven kinetic subframe platform used throughout AAV4x4 motorhome builds and many of our touring vehicle conversions, delivering exceptional durability for Australia's harshest conditions.

AAV4x4 Kinetic Subframe

The AAV4x4 kinetic subframe is engineered to allow the Fuso chassis to flex independently beneath the tray or canopy. Heavy-duty kinetic spring mounts isolate the body structure from torsional chassis movement, helping to reduce fatigue, cracking and structural stress when travelling over corrugated roads, uneven tracks and challenging off-road terrain.

200L Water System

The integrated 200-litre water tank is manufactured from food-grade, UV-stable polyethylene and mounted low within the subframe for excellent weight distribution and vehicle stability. The tank is fully plumbed and connected to a reliable Seaflo pressure water pump, providing convenient water delivery for touring, camping and remote work applications.

The water tank uses a low-profile design to suit the SWB chassis while retaining the vehicle's factory spare tyre location.

Tank Level Monitoring

The system includes an electrical tank sender connected to a 52mm analogue gauge mounted inside the cab. The gauge can operate as a dedicated water level display or, where additional tanks are installed, can be switched between multiple tanks using the in-cab selector switch.

Electrical Installation
