This fitted dual-battery system adds two Revolution Power 12V 200Ah LiFePO4 auxiliary batteries to a compatible Fuso Canter FGB71. The batteries are installed as a 12V auxiliary bank, providing a combined capacity of 400Ah and approximately 5120Wh of stored energy.
The system includes a chassis-mounted three-position battery tray, a Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-30A DC-DC battery charger and colour-coded 50A two-pole Anderson connectors.
The three-position tray is designed to accommodate up to three compatible batteries. This package uses two of the available positions, leaving one tray position available for compatible future system expansion.
The complete system is professionally mounted, electrically connected, configured and tested by AAV4x4 at our Brendale workshop.
The system includes two Revolution Power 12V 200Ah lithium iron phosphate batteries configured as a 12V auxiliary battery bank. Together, the batteries provide a combined capacity of 400Ah and approximately 5120Wh of stored energy for compatible vehicle accessories and auxiliary electrical equipment.
LiFePO4 chemistry maintains a relatively stable voltage through the discharge cycle and provides high usable capacity for vehicle-based auxiliary electrical systems.
Each Revolution lithium battery incorporates an internal battery-management system that monitors and protects the battery during charging and discharging.
Manufacturer-listed BMS functions include protection against:
Each battery is rated for a maximum continuous discharge of 100A and a peak discharge of 250A. The permitted output of the completed battery bank remains dependent on the system configuration, cabling, circuit protection and connected equipment.
The Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-30A is a DC-DC battery charger designed for dual-battery systems in vehicles and boats. It manages charging between the vehicle electrical system and the auxiliary lithium battery bank rather than directly joining the starting and auxiliary batteries together.
The charger provides up to 30A of continuous charging current at its nominal output voltage and uses an adaptive three-stage charging process:
The charging profile is configured to suit the installed Revolution lithium batteries.
Built-in Bluetooth allows the Orion-Tr Smart charger to connect to the VictronConnect app on a compatible device.
VictronConnect can be used to:
The Orion-Tr Smart includes engine-running detection. This allows charging to be enabled when the vehicle’s charging system is operating and stopped when the engine is no longer running.
This controlled operation helps prevent the DC-DC charger from unnecessarily drawing from the vehicle’s starting system while the engine is switched off.
The battery system is installed using a purpose-designed three-position tray mounted to the Fuso FGB71 chassis rails. The tray provides secure positions for up to three compatible batteries.
This package installs two 200Ah Revolution lithium batteries, using two of the three available battery positions. The remaining position does not include an additional battery or associated electrical equipment as part of this product.
The tray includes the retaining brackets required to secure the installed batteries within the completed chassis-mounted assembly.
The assembly includes colour-coded two-pole 50A Anderson-style connectors. The red and grey keyed housings help distinguish separate compatible electrical connections within the completed system.
The connector colours are mechanically keyed, so only compatible housings of the same configuration can be connected together.
The 50A designation applies to the connector class. The permitted current for each completed circuit remains limited by the wiring, protection devices, connected equipment and lowest-rated component in that circuit.
This dual-battery system is professionally fitted by AAV4x4 at our Brendale workshop. Installation includes:
The final component positions and cable routes depend on the vehicle configuration and available chassis space.

This package includes two 200Ah lithium batteries providing a combined 400Ah auxiliary battery capacity. Although the supplied tray has three battery positions, the remaining position is not fitted with a battery as part of this product.
Adding a third battery requires confirmation of physical compatibility, battery matching, charging capacity, cabling, circuit protection and the complete system design. An additional battery and associated installation are not included.
Available auxiliary power and permitted electrical loads depend on the connected equipment, circuit protection, cable sizing and complete vehicle electrical configuration.
