The STEDI Type-X™ PRO LED Driving Lights – Pair, Professionally Fitted by AAV4x4 deliver powerful mid-to-long-range illumination for highway driving, remote touring and off-road travel after dark. Combining a concentrated pencil beam with integrated spread reflectors, the Type-X™ PRO produces strong forward reach while also illuminating the road shoulders.
When tested as a pair, the lights produce 15,870 tested lumens and reach 1 lux at 1,155 metres. Each lamp uses 37 Oslon High-Flux LEDs, including six dedicated spread reflectors that broaden the usable beam without requiring separate wide-beam covers.
This product includes a pair of STEDI Type-X™ PRO driving lights, the supplied mounting and wiring equipment, and professional fitting by AAV4x4.
The Type-X™ PRO is engineered to provide substantial forward visibility without sacrificing useful width. Tested as a pair, the lights produce 1 lux at 1,155 metres, giving drivers more time to identify road conditions, wildlife, obstacles and changes in the track ahead.
The beam is designed to concentrate light through the important mid-to-long-range driving area rather than directing excessive output immediately in front of the vehicle or into surrounding treetops.

The integrated spread reflectors broaden the usable beam without relying on external diffusion covers, which can reduce the amount of light transmitted through the lens. The result is a smooth beam with strong distance and useful peripheral coverage.
Each lamp uses 37 Oslon High-Flux LEDs selected for their high lumen density. The LEDs work with the precision-designed reflector system to produce high candela output and a consistent beam pattern.
The pair produces 1,334,025 candela and 15,870 tested lumens, providing substantial illumination for open-road and remote-area driving.
The optical-grade lens has a hard-coated surface designed to withstand harsh road and off-road environments. UV stabilisation helps protect the lens against discolouration and degradation caused by prolonged sunlight exposure.
The lens and reflector combination is designed to operate without secondary beam covers or filters during normal use.
The Type-X™ PRO uses a substantial 10mm high-pressure die-cast aluminium bracket. This mounting system is designed to withstand vibration and prolonged corrugated-road use while securely supporting the light.
A complete stainless-steel fastener kit is supplied for mounting the pair.
AAV4x4 professionally installs the pair of Type-X™ PRO driving lights using the supplied mounting hardware and Smart High Beam wiring harness. The installation is connected to the vehicle's high-beam system using an appropriate wiring configuration for the vehicle.
The supplied harness includes sealed DTP-2 connectors, a 60A relay, fuse, switch and H4 and HB3 high-beam adapter plugs. The final installation arrangement depends on the vehicle, available mounting points and existing electrical system.
Important: Final fitment depends on the vehicle's bull bar or mounting structure, available clearance and high-beam wiring system. Additional vehicle-specific mounting or electrical components may be required where the supplied equipment is not directly compatible.
