The AAV4x4 Isuzu NPS Rated Recovery Bull Bar is a heavy-duty front protection and recovery system designed for Isuzu NPS NH 4x4 models from 2008 onwards.
Combining a high-tensile structural-grade alloy bull bar with a purpose-built steel chassis-mounted winch support system, the design provides substantial frontal protection and high-capacity recovery capability while avoiding the unnecessary weight of a completely steel bull bar.
This version is winch compatible and designed to accommodate the compatible AAV4x4 LED low-beam headlight upgrade if required, but the low-beam headlight kit is not included with this product.
The main bull bar structure is manufactured from high-tensile structural-grade alloy and incorporates a fully welded single-piece channel.
This provides substantial front-end protection while taking advantage of the reduced mass of alloy compared with an equivalent all-steel bull bar.
The complete bull bar assembly weighs approximately 85kg, with an approximate net increase to vehicle weight of 70kg after allowance for components displaced during installation.
Although the outer bull bar structure is alloy, the winch mounting arrangement uses a purpose-built steel support system secured directly to the vehicle chassis.
This provides a strong foundation for the high loads generated during winching while allowing the alloy bull bar to provide the surrounding protection structure.

Compatibility should be confirmed before fitting a winch not specifically listed for the bull bar, as winch dimensions, motor position and control-box configuration can vary between models.
The winch is mounted behind the main bull bar structure rather than externally on the front face.
A concealed fairlead opening allows the winch rope to exit cleanly through the bar while keeping the recovery system integrated into the overall front-end design.
This arrangement provides serious self-recovery capability without unnecessarily projecting the complete winch assembly forward of the vehicle.
The AAV4x4 configuration incorporates quick-connect recovery points on both sides of the bull bar assembly.
The pin-lock design allows a compatible recovery strap to be inserted directly into the recovery point without requiring a separate bow shackle at the bull bar connection.
Simply remove the retaining pin, position the compatible recovery strap and reinstall the pin to create a secure recovery connection.

The LED low-beam headlight kit is not included with this product. The bull bar is compatible with the applicable AAV4x4 low-beam headlight upgrade, which can be added separately where required.
