This professionally fitted towing package provides a complete towbar and trailer-lighting solution for compatible Isuzu NPS 2008+ vehicles.
The package includes a 3500kg-rated towbar, removable tongue, 50mm towball, vehicle-specific wiring loom, towbar ECU distribution box and an Australian-style 7-pin flat trailer socket. The electrical system converts the Isuzu’s 24V vehicle lighting signals to compatible 12V trailer-light outputs.
The towbar design also retains sufficient space for a 37-inch spare tyre to be mounted beneath the chassis in the original equipment position, subject to the wheel, tyre and vehicle configuration.
The complete mechanical and electrical system is professionally installed and operationally tested by AAV4x4 at our Brendale workshop.
The towbar assembly has a maximum component rating of 3500kg. The actual permitted trailer mass depends on the vehicle’s registered GVM and the requirements applicable to the completed towing combination.
The towbar rating does not automatically mean every Isuzu NPS configuration may tow 3500kg. The vehicle, towbar, tongue, towball, trailer coupling, axle loads, GVM and GCM must all remain within their respective limits.
Under the NHVR vehicle-standard requirements referenced for this product, the following towing limits apply when using the supplied 50mm towball:

The applicable towing limit is determined by the vehicle’s registered specifications and the lowest-rated component or legal limit within the complete combination.
The towbar is supplied with a removable tongue and compatible 50mm towball. The removable arrangement allows the projecting tongue to be removed when the vehicle is not towing.
The 50mm towball is suitable for compatible trailer couplings and must only be used within its marked rating and the limits of the complete towing system.
The towbar is designed to retain space beneath the chassis for a compatible spare wheel in the original equipment mounting position.
A 37-inch tyre can be accommodated in this location, subject to the tyre width, wheel offset, rim dimensions, carrier arrangement, vehicle configuration and surrounding clearances.
Final spare-wheel compatibility must be confirmed on the individual vehicle.
The Isuzu NPS operates with a 24V vehicle electrical system, while many Australian trailers use 12V road lighting.
The included towbar ECU wiring distribution box receives the applicable Isuzu lighting signals and provides compatible 12V outputs for the trailer connection. This prevents standard 12V trailer lamps from being connected directly to the vehicle’s 24V lighting circuits.
The electronic interface also helps separate the additional trailer-lighting load from the Isuzu’s original lighting wiring.
An Australian-style 7-pin flat trailer socket provides the connection point for a compatible trailer plug.

The 3500kg figure is the maximum towbar rating. The permitted towing capacity varies according to the vehicle’s registered GVM and the lowest applicable limit within the complete towing combination.
Vehicles registered above 4495kg GVM require additional vehicle compliance for this towbar installation. This compliance is available at an additional cost.
The supplied 50mm towball must only be used with a compatible trailer coupling and within its marked rating.
The 7-pin socket supplies compatible 12V trailer-lighting outputs through the fitted interface. An electric-brake controller, auxiliary charging circuit, trailer stability-control connection and other specialised trailer equipment are not included unless separately specified.
The ability to retain a 37-inch spare beneath the chassis depends on the complete wheel and tyre dimensions, vehicle configuration and available clearances.
