Complete rear-mounted 20,000lb recovery-winch package for compatible Isuzu NPS models from 2008 onwards, professionally installed and electrically connected by AAV4x4.
The package combines a dedicated Isuzu NPS rear winch mounting cradle with the 24V Carbon Scout Pro 20K truck winch, synthetic rope, high-current power cabling, MEGA fuse protection and the applicable electrical distribution hardware.
Unlike a conventional front-bull-bar winch installation, this package incorporates a dedicated rear winch mounting cradle for the Isuzu NPS platform.
Rear winch positioning provides a recovery option from the rear of the vehicle and forms part of the complete AAV4x4 fitted assembly represented by this SKU.
The Carbon Scout Pro 20K is rated for a maximum single-line pull of 9,072kg / 20,000lb.
This truck-class winch is suited to high-capacity recovery applications where a conventional light-duty four-wheel-drive winch may not provide sufficient rated pulling capacity.
The current winch configuration uses a 24V DC 7HP series-wound motor, matching the 24V configuration specified by the AAV4x4 assembly.
Winch switching is handled by a 600A sealed solenoid.
The Scout Pro uses a three-stage planetary gearbox with a 354:1 reduction ratio.
A rotating-ring-gear clutch allows the drum to be switched between freespool and engaged operation.
An automatic braking system is incorporated into the motor-frame assembly to control the drum during loaded winching operations.
The current Carbon Scout Pro 20K configuration includes 25 metres of 13mm synthetic winch rope.
The rope operates through the supplied MEGAPRO premium multi-position aluminium fairlead.
Both wired and wireless controls are supplied with the winch.
The current AAV4x4 assembly incorporates heavy-duty electrical infrastructure for the rear-mounted winch.
The current assembly records 5 metres each of red and black 0 B&S battery cable within the winch installation package.
This product is professionally fitted by AAV4x4 at our Brendale workshop.
Installation includes secure mounting of the rear winch cradle and winch, routing and termination of the high-current power cabling, installation of the specified electrical protection and distribution components, electrical connection and operational testing.
