Heavy-duty 20,000lb 24V recovery winch package for compatible Isuzu NPS 2008+ vehicles, professionally installed and electrically connected by AAV4x4.
The package uses the current Carbon Scout Pro 20K truck winch, rated to 9,072kg / 20,000lb single-line pull and equipped with a 24V 7HP series-wound motor, three-stage planetary gearing and 25 metres of 13mm synthetic rope.
The current AAV4x4 installation also incorporates heavy-duty 0 B&S positive and negative battery cabling, 500A MEGA fuse protection and the applicable high-current electrical connection hardware.
The winch is rated for a maximum single-line pull of 20,000lb / 9,072kg, providing truck-class recovery capacity for the compatible Isuzu NPS platform.
The current 24V Scout Pro configuration uses a 7HP series-wound DC motor together with a heavy-duty 600A sealed solenoid.
Drive reduction is provided by a three-stage planetary gearbox with a 354:1 ratio.
A rotating-ring-gear clutch provides freespool operation for deploying the synthetic rope.
An automatic braking system is integrated into the motor-bracket assembly to control the winch drum while operating under load.
The current winch specification includes 25 metres of 13mm synthetic winch rope.
The synthetic rope is guided through the supplied MEGAPRO multi-position aluminium fairlead.
Both wired and wireless control options are supplied with the winch.
The AAV4x4 fitted package incorporates the high-current electrical components required by the current Vision assembly.
This is a fully fitted package completed by AAV4x4 at our Brendale workshop.
Installation includes secure installation of the winch to the compatible vehicle mounting arrangement, routing and termination of the high-current cabling, installation of the specified circuit protection, electrical connection and operational testing.
