20,000lb Recovery Capacity

The current winch platform carries a published pulling capacity of 20,000lb, equivalent to approximately 9,072kg.

Actual recovery loads are affected by terrain, gradient, vehicle resistance, rope angle and the number of rope layers remaining on the drum.

Dedicated 24V Operation

This package uses the 24V version of the winch for integration with the applicable Isuzu GX electrical system.

25m x 12mm Synthetic Rope

The current Vision assembly specifies 25 metres of 12mm synthetic winch rope.

This current specification supersedes the older 20m wording in the root product title and the older winch specification still shown in previous product copy.

Isuzu GX-Specific Rear Cradle

The fitted package includes a dedicated Isuzu GX rear winch cradle for mounting the recovery winch at the rear of the vehicle.

Automatic Brake & Thermal Protection

An automatic load-holding brake forms part of the winch system to help control the drum when winching stops under load.

Thermal overload protection is also incorporated to help protect the winch during demanding operation.

Weather-Sealed Controls

The winch incorporates weather-sealed controls together with a sealed solenoid/control arrangement for use in demanding vehicle-recovery environments.

Heavy-Current Electrical Installation

The current GX assembly specifies approximately 7 metres each of 0 B&S red positive and black negative battery cable.

A dedicated high-current distribution connection is also incorporated into the current installation.

Professional AAV4x4 Installation

AAV4x4 installs and secures the GX-specific rear cradle and winch, routes and terminates the heavy-current positive and negative cabling, completes the required electrical connections and carries out an operational test after installation.

Important Notes

The current Vision assembly specifies 25m x 12mm synthetic rope. Older product wording referring to a 20m rope or the previous winch specification is no longer current for this SKU.

Safe recovery practice, correctly rated recovery equipment and suitable vehicle recovery points remain essential whenever a winch is used.
