This fitted GXO battery upgrade installs two iTechworld iTECH240X PRO 12V 240Ah LiFePO4 deep-cycle batteries in a three-position battery tray.
The two batteries are configured as a compatible 12V auxiliary battery bank, providing a combined usable capacity of 480Ah. Each battery incorporates Bluetooth monitoring, an internal battery-management system, prismatic LiFePO4 cells and an IP67-rated enclosure.
Two of the three available battery positions are used in this installation, leaving one tray position unoccupied. The complete upgrade is professionally mounted, electrically integrated and operationally tested by AAV4x4 at our Brendale workshop.
The upgrade includes two iTECH240X PRO lithium iron phosphate batteries. Each battery provides 240Ah of usable capacity at a nominal voltage of 12.8V.

The batteries are intended for deep-cycle energy storage and are not designed for engine-cranking applications.
Each iTECH240X PRO has a published usable capacity of 240Ah. This allows the full rated capacity to be used within the operating limits of the internal battery-management system.
The two-battery installation therefore provides a combined usable auxiliary capacity of 480Ah. Actual operating time depends on the connected loads, charging conditions, temperature, cable losses and the efficiency of any inverter or other electrical equipment.
Each iTECH240X PRO includes integrated Bluetooth connectivity for monitoring through the compatible iTechworld Connect App.

Each battery is monitored individually, allowing its operating condition to be checked without direct access to the battery installation area.
Each battery contains an internal battery-management system that monitors charging, discharging, temperature and internal cell operation.

The internal battery-management system does not replace correctly rated external circuit protection, isolation equipment or appropriately sized electrical cabling within the completed GXO installation.
Each iTECH240X PRO has a published continuous discharge rating of 200A and a maximum discharge rating of 640A for up to five seconds.
The actual output available from the completed battery bank is determined by the complete electrical system, including the battery configuration, cables, terminals, fuses, isolators, distribution equipment, inverter and connected loads.
Each battery has a recommended charging voltage of 14.4V and a maximum charging current of 150A.
The GXO charging equipment must provide a compatible LiFePO4 charging profile and remain within the operating limits of the installed battery bank. Existing DC-DC chargers, solar controllers and mains chargers must be checked and configured for compatibility.
The iTECH240X PRO uses prismatic lithium iron phosphate cells with vibration-dampening construction. This cell format is designed to provide stability and vibration resistance for compatible mobile and vehicle-based installations.

Actual battery life depends on depth of discharge, charging conditions, temperature, storage, installation and operating environment.
Each iTECH240X PRO has an IP67-rated enclosure. This provides protection against dust ingress and temporary immersion in water within the limits of the rating.
The batteries use ABS cases and M8 electrical terminals.
The two batteries are secured in a three-position battery tray. This installation uses two of the three available battery positions, leaving one position unoccupied.
The tray and retaining brackets provide a dedicated mounting structure for the installed battery bank. The unused position does not include a third battery or additional electrical equipment as part of this product.

This upgrade provides a combined usable auxiliary battery capacity of 480Ah. Two of the three available battery-tray positions are occupied.
The iTECH240X PRO batteries are deep-cycle storage batteries and must not be used as engine-cranking batteries.
A DC-DC charger, mains charger, solar controller or inverter is not listed as included with this battery-and-tray upgrade. Existing charging equipment must be checked for compatibility with the batteries’ LiFePO4 charging requirements.
Adding a third battery requires confirmation of battery compatibility, charging capacity, cable sizing, circuit protection and the complete GXO electrical-system design.
Available auxiliary power and permitted electrical loads depend on the connected equipment, cabling, circuit protection and complete vehicle electrical configuration.
