The Gen-Y (Bolt-On) No-Slop 2.5" to 2" Reducer Sleeve is an innovative receiver adapter designed to convert a 2.5" hitch receiver to accept standard 2" hitch accessories while significantly reducing the unwanted movement commonly experienced with traditional reducer sleeves. Its unique bolt-on design provides a tighter, more secure fit for improved towing stability and reduced hitch rattle.

Unlike conventional loose-fitting reducer sleeves, the No-Slop Reducer Sleeve uses an integrated bolt-on clamping system to minimise play between the receiver and hitch shank. Installation requires only minimal effort, making it an excellent upgrade for vehicles fitted with a 2.5" receiver that regularly use 2" hitches or accessories.

Bolt-On No-Slop Design

The Gen-Y No-Slop Reducer Sleeve is engineered to address one of the most common complaints associated with receiver reducers—excessive movement between the hitch and receiver. The integrated bolt-on system securely clamps the sleeve in position, creating a far more solid connection than a conventional drop-in reducer.

The result is reduced movement during acceleration, braking and uneven road conditions, helping improve towing confidence while reducing noise and vibration from the hitch assembly.

Reduces Hitch Rattle

Traditional reducer sleeves rely on clearance between components to allow installation, often resulting in unwanted play once fitted. The No-Slop design greatly reduces this clearance, helping eliminate much of the clunking and rattling commonly experienced during everyday driving.

This makes it particularly well suited to heavy-duty adjustable hitches, bike carriers, recovery accessories and other receiver-mounted equipment where a tighter fit is desirable.

Simple Installation

Important: This reducer sleeve does not increase the towing capacity of the vehicle or receiver hitch. Always follow the lowest-rated component in the towing system and ensure the receiver, hitch, accessory and tow vehicle are all appropriately rated for the intended application.
