Add serious rear recovery capability to your Fuso FGB71 with this professionally fitted AAV4x4 rear winch package incorporating a dedicated rear winch cradle and 12V Carbon Scout Pro 20,000lb winch.
The completed package combines the vehicle-specific rear mounting system with a 20,000lb / 9,072kg winch, 25m x 13mm synthetic rope, CNC billet fairlead, wired and wireless controls and the heavy-current electrical system required for the installation.
AAV4x4 professionally completes the mechanical installation, high-current cabling, fuse protection, electrical integration and operational testing at our Brendale workshop.
The fitted Carbon Scout Pro is rated to a 20,000lb / 9,072kg single-line pull.
This high-capacity platform is designed for heavy trucks and other large recovery applications where considerably more pulling capacity is required than a conventional passenger-vehicle winch provides.
This exact package uses the 12V version of the winch with a 7HP series-wound motor.
The motor drives a 354:1 three-stage planetary gearbox, providing the reduction required for the winch's heavy rated load.
The winch is supplied with 25 metres of 13mm synthetic rope.
The rope runs through the supplied multi-position CNC billet fairlead as part of the complete winch package.
The Scout Pro incorporates an automatic braking system within the motor-frame arrangement.
A rotating ring-gear clutch provides freespool operation for deploying the synthetic rope before recovery.
Both wired and wireless remote controls are supplied with the winch.
The wired controller uses an approximately 3.6m lead, while the wireless controller provides an alternative method of operating the winch during suitable recovery situations.
A winch of this capacity requires a substantial high-current electrical installation.
The current AAV4x4 package incorporates heavy-gauge 0 B&S positive and negative battery cabling, high-current distribution points and dedicated fuse protection.
A 500A MEGA fuse and covered MEGA fuse holder form part of the installed vehicle circuit.
The package includes a dedicated Fuso FGB71 rear winch cradle / mounting kit rather than treating the winch as a universal loose component.
The cradle provides the vehicle mounting structure required for the rear-mounted recovery arrangement.
This is a fully fitted package installed by AAV4x4 at our Brendale workshop.
Installation includes fitting and securing the rear winch mounting system, mounting the winch and fairlead, completing the heavy-current electrical connections and fuse protection, checking cable routing and completing an operational test of the installed recovery system.
