This fitted auxiliary battery system adds three Revolution Power 12V 200Ah LiFePO4 batteries to a compatible Fuso Canter FGB71. The batteries form a 12V auxiliary bank with a combined capacity of 600Ah and approximately 7680Wh of stored energy.
All three batteries are secured in a purpose-built three-position battery tray mounted to the FGB71 chassis rails. Charging is managed by a Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-30A DC-DC battery charger, which controls power transfer from the vehicle electrical system to the auxiliary lithium battery bank.
The system also includes colour-coded red and grey 50A two-pole Anderson-style connectors for the required detachable electrical connections. The complete system is professionally mounted, electrically connected, configured and tested by AAV4x4 at our Brendale workshop.
The system includes three Revolution Power 12V 200Ah lithium iron phosphate batteries configured together as a 12V auxiliary battery bank.
Each battery provides 200Ah of usable capacity and approximately 2560Wh of stored energy. Together, the three batteries provide:

Each battery is rated for a maximum continuous discharge of 100A and a peak discharge of 250A. The permitted output of the completed battery bank remains dependent on the system configuration, cabling, circuit protection and connected equipment.
The Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-30A is a controlled DC-DC battery charger designed for vehicle auxiliary battery systems. It manages charging between the vehicle electrical system and the auxiliary lithium battery bank rather than leaving the starting and auxiliary systems permanently connected together.
The charger provides up to 30A of continuous charging current at its nominal output voltage and uses an adaptive three-stage charging process:

The Orion-Tr Smart incorporates engine-running detection. This allows charging to operate when the vehicle charging system is active and stop when the engine is no longer running.
This controlled operation helps prevent the DC-DC charger from continuing to draw from the vehicle starting system while the engine is switched off.
Built-in Bluetooth allows the Orion-Tr Smart charger to connect to the VictronConnect app on a compatible device.

The system uses a purpose-built three-position battery tray mounted directly to the Fuso Canter FGB71 chassis rails.
This package installs three 200Ah Revolution lithium batteries, using the full capacity of the tray. The tray and associated retaining brackets provide a dedicated chassis-mounted structure for securing the battery bank.
Mounting the battery bank externally on the chassis preserves space inside the vehicle cab or motorhome body while providing a dedicated location for the auxiliary power system.
The assembly includes colour-coded red and grey two-pole 50A Anderson-style connectors. Their coloured and mechanically keyed housings help distinguish separate compatible electrical connections within the completed system.
The 50A designation identifies the connector class. The permitted current through each completed circuit remains limited by the wiring, circuit protection, connected equipment and lowest-rated component.
