The AAV4x4 AirGlide Towbar Guard is a purpose-built protective panel designed for compatible AirGlide air-assisted towbar installations.
Manufactured from 3mm-thick Grade 350 steel, the guard provides a strong barrier around the lower section of the towbar assembly. It helps protect exposed components from stones, road debris and incidental contact during normal touring, work and off-road use.
The formed steel construction incorporates reinforced folds, dedicated mounting points and cut-out AIRGLIDE and AAV4X4 branding. An AAV Orange powder-coated finish provides a distinctive appearance that complements the AirGlide towbar installation.
This product is supplied unfitted.
The guard is positioned across the lower section of the compatible AirGlide towbar installation, providing a protective barrier between the assembly and debris thrown up from the road or track.

The guard does not replace regular inspection or maintenance of the towbar, airbag, air lines, valves, fittings and mounting hardware.
The guard is fabricated from 3mm-thick Grade 350 steel, providing a strong and rigid protective structure without unnecessary complexity.
Grade 350 steel offers a minimum nominal yield strength of 350MPa, making it well suited to fabricated vehicle components where strength and durability are required.
The guard uses folded upper, lower and side sections to increase stiffness and help the panel retain its shape during vehicle operation.
The formed profile also allows the guard to sit neatly around the compatible towbar assembly while maintaining access to the main towing and air-control components.
The guard is finished in AAV Orange powder coat, creating a durable exterior and a distinctive visual match for compatible AAV4x4 AirGlide installations.
The powder-coated surface provides additional protection against normal environmental exposure. The guard should still be cleaned and inspected regularly, particularly after travel on beaches, muddy tracks or unsealed roads.
The front face incorporates precision-cut AIRGLIDE and AAV4X4 branding. The cut-out design creates a clean, integrated appearance without the need for separate badges or adhesive labels.
Pre-positioned mounting holes are incorporated into the guard for attachment to the compatible AirGlide towbar installation.
Fitment must be checked against the individual towbar assembly before installation. The guard must be mounted securely and positioned so that it does not interfere with the towbar, airbag, valves, air lines, hitch movement or other operating components.

This product is the protective guard only. The AirGlide towbar, airbag, valves, air lines, compressor, air tank and other towing components are not included.
Mounting hardware is not listed as included and must be selected to suit the compatible towbar installation.
Confirm compatibility before installation. The guard must not contact or restrict the movement of the air-assisted hitch assembly or obstruct access required for inspection, adjustment and servicing.
The guard is intended to provide additional protection against normal road and track debris. It is not designed to act as a recovery point, jacking point or structural towing component.
