Stedi Type-X Pro Led Driving Lights PAIR

The STEDI Type-X™ PRO LED Driving Lights – Pair deliver powerful mid-to-long-range illumination for highway driving, remote touring and off-road travel after dark. Supplied unfitted as a complete pair, they combine a concentrated pencil beam with integrated spread reflectors to provide strong forward reach together with useful road-edge and shoulder visibility.

Each driving light uses 37 Oslon High-Flux LEDs. When tested as a pair, the Type-X™ PRO produces 15,870 tested lumens, 26,270 raw lumens and a beam reaching 1 lux at 1,155 metres.

This product is supplied with two Type-X™ PRO driving lights, protective covers, interchangeable colour rings, a Smart High Beam wiring harness, stainless-steel fasteners and fitting instructions, ready for installation by your preferred workshop or qualified installer.

Long-Range Illumination

The Type-X™ PRO is designed to provide substantial forward visibility through the important mid-to-long-range driving area. Tested as a pair, the lights reach 1 lux at 1,155 metres, giving the driver more time to identify road conditions, wildlife, obstacles and changes in the track ahead.

The reflector geometry creates a smooth and consistent beam, reducing shadows and limiting wasted light immediately in front of the vehicle or above the useful driving area.

Combined Pencil and Spread Beam

Each Type-X™ PRO driving light contains two complementary reflector types:

• 31 x 5.8-degree pencil-beam reflectors for concentrated long-range projection
• 6 x 50-degree spread reflectors for broader road-edge and shoulder illumination

The integrated spread reflectors provide additional beam width without requiring separate diffusion covers. This preserves light transmission while producing a balanced combination beam suited to open roads, remote touring and off-road driving.

High-Flux LED Technology

Each light is equipped with 37 Oslon High-Flux LEDs selected for their high lumen density. Combined with the precision reflector system, the LEDs produce strong candela output and substantial usable light through the mid-to-long-range driving zone.

The pair produces 26,270 raw lumens and 15,870 tested lumens, with a combined peak intensity of 1,334,025 candela.

Hard-Coated Optical Lens

The optical-grade lens features a hard-coated surface designed to withstand demanding road and off-road environments. A UV stabiliser helps protect the lens against discolouration and degradation caused by prolonged sunlight exposure.

The lens and reflector system is designed to operate without additional beam covers or filters during normal use.

Heavy-Duty Mounting System

Each Type-X™ PRO driving light uses a substantial 10mm high-pressure die-cast aluminium bracket. The mounting system is designed to withstand vibration and prolonged use over corrugated and uneven roads.

A complete stainless-steel fastener kit is included for installation.

Smart High Beam Wiring Harness

The supplied wiring harness includes sealed DTP-2 connectors, a 60A relay, fuse, switch and H4 and HB3 high-beam adapter plugs. It provides the main electrical components required to connect the driving lights to a compatible vehicle high-beam circuit.

Some vehicles may require a different vehicle-specific piggyback adapter or additional installation components where the supplied H4 or HB3 adapters are not compatible.
