The GEN-Y HITCH Mega Duty Drop Hitch is a heavy-duty, fully adjustable towing hitch designed for vehicles fitted with a compatible 2-inch receiver. This GHM-314-5 configuration provides a 7.5-inch drop, four adjustable attachment positions and a single 50mm tow ball.
Rated for towing capacities up to 4,500kg and a maximum tongue weight of 600kg, the hitch allows the ball height to be repositioned to suit different trailer coupling heights. It can also be installed in either the drop or rise position, providing additional adjustment for vehicles and trailers with differing ride heights.

The Mega Duty Drop Hitch provides four attachment positions across its 7.5-inch drop configuration. The ball mount can be repositioned by removing the retaining pin, moving the mount to the required position and securing it at the selected height.
This adjustable design allows the hitch to accommodate different trailer coupling heights and helps position the trailer as level as possible while towing. It is also suitable for vehicles that tow multiple trailers with different height requirements.
The hitch is designed and tested for installation in either the drop or rise position. In the drop position, the 50mm ball can be positioned below the vehicle receiver for trailers with a lower coupling height. The hitch can also be inverted when a raised ball position is required.
The correct position will depend on the height of the vehicle receiver and the trailer coupling.
This configuration is supplied with a single 50mm tow ball. The ball mount can be moved between the four available positions to provide an appropriate towing height for compatible trailers using a 50mm coupling.
The GEN-Y HITCH Mega Duty Drop Hitch is rated for towing capacities up to 4,500kg and a maximum tongue weight of 600kg.
The permitted towing capacity remains subject to the ratings of the vehicle, towbar, receiver, trailer, coupling and every other component in the towing system. The lowest-rated component determines the allowable towing capacity.
The Mega Duty Drop Hitch is fabricated from heavy-duty steel. Its straightforward pin-adjustable design allows the towing height to be changed without replacing the complete receiver hitch.
The adjustable receiver design can be used for compatible bumper-style trailers and other suitable receiver-mounted applications. The manufacturer also identifies potential use with compatible bicycle racks, cargo racks and motorcycle carriers.
Compatibility and load ratings must be confirmed for the individual attachment and vehicle before use.

This product is supplied unfitted. The hitch must be positioned so the trailer is as level as possible when connected to the towing vehicle.
Always observe the lowest applicable rating among the vehicle, towbar, receiver, hitch, tow ball, trailer and coupling. A 4,500kg hitch rating does not increase the towing capacity of the vehicle or any other component.
