The GEN-Y HITCH Mega Duty Drop Hitch is a fully adjustable towing hitch designed for vehicles fitted with a 2-inch receiver. This model provides a 7.5-inch drop with four adjustable positions and is supplied with an Australian tongue for DO45 coupling applications.

Rated for a towing capacity of up to 4,500kg and a tongue weight of up to 600kg, the hitch allows the coupling height to be adjusted to better match the trailer and help keep it level while towing.

The hitch can be used in either the drop or rise position, providing additional flexibility for vehicles and trailers with different coupling heights. This product is supplied unfitted.

Adjustable Coupling Height

The Mega Duty Drop Hitch provides four available attachment positions across its 7.5-inch drop configuration. The coupling height can be changed by removing the retaining pin, repositioning the Australian tongue to the required height and securing it in the selected position.

This adjustability allows the hitch to be configured for different trailers and coupling heights without replacing the complete receiver assembly. It is particularly useful where one towing vehicle is used with multiple trailers or where the vehicle receiver sits significantly higher than the trailer coupling.

Drop or Rise Installation

The hitch is designed and tested for use in either the drop or rise position. In the drop position, the Australian tongue can be positioned below the vehicle receiver for trailers with a lower coupling height. When additional height is required, the hitch can be inverted and used in the rise position.

Australian Tongue for DO45 Couplings

This version is supplied with an Australian tongue intended for DO45 coupling applications. The tongue can be repositioned between the hitch's four adjustable mounting positions to achieve a suitable towing height.

The GEN-Y Mega Duty Drop Hitch is rated for a towing capacity of up to 4,500kg and a maximum tongue weight of 600kg.

Heavy-Duty Steel Construction
