The Awnlux Electric Solar Awning combines a deployable vehicle awning with an integrated solar array. When extended, the awning provides a covered outdoor area beside the vehicle while exposing the solar surface to available sunlight for electrical generation.
The integrated solar array is rated at 780W with a stated voltage of 41.3V. Solar output is connected through a suitable Victron MPPT solar charge controller, allowing the generated power to be regulated for the vehicle’s compatible battery system.
This package is professionally fitted by AAV4x4 at our Brendale workshop and includes secure installation of the awning, electrical connection, MPPT configuration and operational testing.
The solar surface is incorporated into the deployable awning rather than being limited to fixed panels installed on the vehicle roof. When the awning is extended, the solar sections unfold with it, creating additional solar collection area while also providing shelter beside the vehicle.
This combination allows the same installation to perform two functions: providing a covered outdoor area and contributing solar energy to the vehicle’s electrical system.
The integrated solar array has a stated rating of 780W and 41.3V. Actual solar production will vary according to available sunlight, shading, awning position, temperature and installation conditions.
For best solar performance, the deployed awning should have suitable exposure to sunlight and remain as free from shade as practical.
The awning uses electric operation for deployment and retraction. Its integrated design allows the solar surface to extend with the awning and return to the vehicle-mounted housing when the awning is retracted.
The awning must be fully secured and used according to the conditions present at the installation location.
A suitable Victron MPPT solar charge controller is included as part of the fitted system. MPPT technology continuously tracks the operating point of the solar array and regulates the available solar input for charging the connected battery system.
The exact Victron MPPT model is selected according to the vehicle’s electrical configuration, battery system and installation requirements. Controller specifications may therefore vary between installations.
This product is professionally fitted by AAV4x4 at our Brendale workshop. Installation includes:
The final mounting position, electrical layout and Victron MPPT model depend on the vehicle, body construction, available installation space and existing electrical system.
| Product | Awnlux Electric Solar Awning |
|---|---|
| Awning operation | Electric |
| Solar integration | Solar array integrated into the deployable awning |
| Rated solar capacity | 780W |
| Stated solar-array voltage | 41.3V |
| Solar controller | Suitable Victron MPPT solar charge controller |
| MPPT model | Selected according to the vehicle and electrical-system requirements |

The exact Victron MPPT model is not fixed and will be selected to suit the completed electrical installation.
Actual solar output depends on sunlight, shading, temperature, awning position and other operating conditions. The 780W figure is the stated rated capacity of the integrated solar array and does not represent continuous output under all conditions.
Final fitment depends on the vehicle structure, available mounting area and existing electrical system.
