This heavy-duty forged ball mount provides a strong, reversible towing connection for compatible 50 x 50mm towbar receivers.
Manufactured from a solid piece of drop-forged steel, the mount is rated to a maximum gross trailer weight of 4500kg and a maximum tongue weight of 450kg when used with suitably rated towing components.
The reversible design provides either a 152mm drop or a 127mm rise, allowing the towball position to be matched more closely to the loaded trailer coupling height. A large 32mm ball hole suits compatible 70mm towballs or DO45-style coupling pins.

The ball mount is drop forged from a solid piece of steel for high strength and durability under demanding towing loads.
Unlike a fabricated adjustable mount made from several bolted components, the one-piece forged construction provides a rigid connection between the towbar receiver and the trailer coupling.

This allows the mount to accommodate vehicles and trailers with different receiver and coupling heights.
The trailer should sit level when loaded and connected for travel. Correct coupling height supports suitable trailer stability, load distribution and braking performance.
The solid square shank is designed to fit a compatible 50 x 50mm, or 2 x 2-inch, towbar receiver.
The receiver dimensions, available insertion depth, hitch-pin position and towbar rating must be confirmed before installation.
The mounting plate incorporates an approximately 32mm, or 1-1/4-inch, ball hole. This suits compatible 70mm towballs and appropriately rated coupling pins with the corresponding shank diameter.
A reducing bush may be used with a compatible smaller-shank towball where permitted, but the bush and towball are not included.
The mount measures 241mm from the centre of the receiver-pin hole to the centre of the towball hole.
This measurement should be checked against the vehicle, towbar, rear bodywork, spare wheel and trailer coupling to confirm adequate clearance through the complete turning range.

This model is a fixed reversible ball mount providing a 152mm drop or 127mm rise. It is not a multi-position adjustable 370mm drop hitch.
A towball, coupling pin, reducing bush, receiver pin and clip are not listed as included.
The ball mount’s 4500kg and 450kg ratings must not be interpreted as increasing the vehicle’s towing capacity. The lowest-rated component or legal limit within the complete towing combination must always be observed.
When used with a component rated below 4500kg, such as a 3500kg towball or coupling, the complete connection is limited to that lower rating.
Confirm the receiver size, hitch-pin location, towball or coupling-pin diameter, required drop or rise and available vehicle clearance before purchase.
