This professionally fitted rear-bar package combines a 3500kg-rated towbar with a GX-style rear protection bar, dual spare-wheel carrying positions and a hand-operated wheel winch for compatible Fuso FGB71 vehicles.
The integrated design provides secure external storage for two spare wheels while retaining a practical towing connection beneath the rear bar. A swing-arm arrangement allows access to the rear of the vehicle, while the centrally mounted hand winch assists with controlling the spare wheel during removal and refitting.
The package also includes a matched pair of 355 Series LED rear combination lamps, a 7-pin flat trailer socket and an electronic trailer-light interface suitable for integration with the Fuso electrical system.
The complete rear bar, towbar, spare-wheel system and trailer wiring are professionally installed and operationally tested by AAV4x4 at our Brendale workshop.
The rear bar forms the structural base of the complete towing and spare-wheel system. Its integrated layout positions the two spare wheels across the rear of the vehicle while maintaining access to the towbar receiver and trailer electrical connection.
The bar follows the width of the rear body and incorporates the lighting, spare-wheel supports and central towing equipment into one coordinated installation.
The integrated towbar is rated to a maximum towing capacity of 3500kg when used within the applicable limits of the vehicle and complete towing combination.
The actual permitted towing capacity is determined by the lowest applicable rating or legal limit, including the vehicle, chassis, towbar, receiver, hitch, coupling, trailer, axle loads, GVM and GCM.
The system provides dedicated carrying positions for two compatible spare wheels. This gives touring and remote-area vehicles the security of carrying a second spare without using valuable internal storage space.
The two-wheel layout is particularly useful for:
Tyre and wheel compatibility must be confirmed against the completed carrier, vehicle axle loads and overall vehicle mass.
The spare-wheel carrier uses a swing-arm arrangement so the wheel assembly can be moved away from the rear body when access is required.
A horizontal stainless-steel locking pin and retaining clip secure the carrier in its operating position. The locking components must be fully engaged before the vehicle is driven.
A Pacific Brake BHW800 hand winch is incorporated into the spare-wheel system. The winch works with the supplied cable, rope and hook components to assist with handling the spare wheel during removal and installation.
This reduces the need to lift the full wheel and tyre assembly without mechanical assistance, which is especially valuable when carrying large truck or off-road wheels.
The winch and lifting components must only be used as intended for the fitted spare-wheel system.
The rear bar includes a matched left-hand and right-hand pair of 355 Series LED rear combination lamps.
The integrated lamp functions include:
The lamps provide a compact and clearly visible rear-lighting solution integrated into the outer sections of the bar.
The fitted package includes an electronic trailer-light interface for connection to the Fuso lighting system.
The interface allows compatible trailer lamps to operate without placing their full electrical load directly onto the vehicle’s original monitored lighting circuits.
The system includes the required Fuso-compatible wiring loom and a multivolt trailer-light adaptor for integration with the vehicle’s electrical system.
A 7-pin flat trailer socket provides the electrical connection for compatible Australian trailers.
The socket wiring is integrated with the trailer-light interface and tested for correct operation following installation.
This complete Fuso FGB71 rear-bar and towing package is professionally installed by AAV4x4 at our Brendale workshop. Installation includes:
Final fitment depends on the vehicle configuration, rear body design, chassis condition, spare-wheel dimensions and existing accessories.

Spare wheels and tyres are not included unless separately specified.
The published 3500kg towbar rating does not increase the towing capacity of the Fuso. The lowest applicable vehicle, chassis, towbar, hitch, coupling, trailer, GVM or GCM limit must always be observed.
The hitch insert, towball, pintle or alternative trailer coupling is not listed as included and must be selected to suit the trailer and required towing height.
The additional weight of the rear bar, carrier system and spare wheels must be included when calculating vehicle payload, rear axle load and overall vehicle mass.
Both spare wheels, the swing-arm locking system and the winch components must be checked before driving. The vehicle must not be operated unless every carrier and locking component is fully secured.
