This fitted folding antenna bracket provides a strong and practical mounting solution for a compatible UHF antenna on a Fuso truck.
The MBU-05BK is a heavy-duty vehicle antenna mounting bracket with a fold-down design. It allows the fitted antenna to be lowered when additional overhead clearance is required, making it particularly useful for trucks entering garages, workshops, storage areas or locations with low branches and other height restrictions.
The bracket is supplied in a black finish and professionally installed by AAV4x4 at our Brendale workshop.
A permanently upright UHF antenna can add considerable height to a Fuso truck, particularly when mounted above the cab, on a roof rack or at another elevated position.
The folding bracket allows the antenna to be lowered when necessary, helping the vehicle pass beneath low-clearance obstacles without requiring the antenna to be unscrewed or completely removed.
Once adequate clearance is available, the antenna can be returned to its normal operating position.
The MBU-05BK is a heavy-duty folding radio vehicle antenna mounting bracket. It provides a secure mounting point for a compatible vehicle antenna while adding the convenience of a folding base.
The completed installation remains dependent on the strength and suitability of the vehicle mounting point, the size of the antenna and the way the vehicle is operated.
The bracket is supplied in black, allowing it to blend neatly with compatible roof racks, mounting plates, bullbars and other dark-finished vehicle accessories.
Its compact appearance provides a clean alternative to leaving a fixed antenna mount permanently upright.
This fitted product is suitable for compatible Fuso truck applications where a folding UHF antenna mount is required.
The final mounting position is selected according to the individual vehicle, available mounting structure, antenna type, cable route and required operating clearance.

This product is for the folding mounting bracket and its installation. A UHF antenna, radio, coaxial cable and other communications equipment are not included unless separately specified.
Antenna compatibility and the final mounting position must be confirmed before installation. The size, weight and construction of the antenna may affect the suitability of the bracket and mounting location.
The antenna should be returned to its normal operating position before radio use. Always confirm that the antenna is lowered before entering an area with restricted overhead clearance.
