The AAV4x4 New Fuso 2026 Euro 6 FGB71 4x4 Crew Cab Chassis takes the proven Fuso Canter 4x4 platform and prepares it for serious touring, expedition, commercial and off-road vehicle builds with a comprehensive AAV4x4 wheel, body-clearance, protection and electrical integration package.
This configuration combines the 7-seat FGB71 4x4 Crew Cab with five heavy-duty 17x9" steel super-single wheels fitted with aggressive 40x13.5R17LT 131Q mud-terrain tyres, a purpose-designed AAV4x4 winch-compatible alloy bull bar, front wheel flares, Second Stage Manufacturing conversion work and speedometer recalibration.
The completed AAV4x4 package is listed at a maximum GVM of 5600kg and provides a substantial foundation for customers building an off-road motorhome, expedition truck, remote-area service vehicle or heavy-duty touring platform.
The foundation of this package is the current Fuso Canter FGB71 4x4 Wide Crew Cab, providing seating for up to seven people including the driver.
The Euro 6 driveline produces 110kW and 400Nm and is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The Fuso 4x4 system incorporates lockable front hubs, a rear limited-slip differential and low-range gearing for operation beyond sealed roads.
The Crew Cab configuration makes the truck particularly suitable for expedition vehicles, crew transport, remote-area service applications and motorhome builds where additional passenger seating is required without moving to a substantially larger truck platform.
One of the defining features of this AAV4x4 configuration is the 40-inch mud-terrain super-single wheel and tyre package.
Five 17x9" heavy-duty steel super-single rims are supplied with 40x13.5R17LT 131Q mud-terrain tyres, giving the FGB71 a substantially larger tyre footprint and the aggressive stance visible in the vehicle images.
The 40x13.5R17LT tyres are a Load Range E construction with a 131Q load/speed index. The tyre specification has an approximate overall diameter of 39.5 inches and section width of approximately 13.6 inches.
The super-single conversion uses heavy-duty 17x9" 6-stud steel rims designed for demanding truck applications.
The rims are DOT stamped, rated to 2300kg per rim and have been tested in accordance with SAE J2530a.
The wheel assemblies are fitted with the appropriate high-pressure valve components and are professionally fitted and balanced as part of the vehicle preparation.
Front-end protection is provided by an AAV4x4 FGB71 winch and low-beam-compatible bull bar fitted to the vehicle.
The bull bar combines an alloy outer structure with a heavy-duty steel winch cradle, providing the structural support required around the recovery system while limiting unnecessary weight at the front of the truck.
A winch and optional low-beam lighting are not included unless separately specified.
The large super-single conversion is accompanied by the applicable fibreglass front wheel-arch flares and flare-extension components.
These components provide the additional body coverage required around the significantly wider wheel and tyre package and form part of the complete AAV4x4 wheel conversion rather than simply fitting oversized tyres to an otherwise standard truck.
The vehicle package incorporates the applicable Second Stage Manufacturing conversion process for the AAV4x4 wheel and GVM configuration.
The conversion work includes the applicable vehicle approval process, updated tyre placard, wheel-arch flare components, wheel hardware and associated vehicle preparation required for the completed configuration.
This conversion applies to the new, previously unregistered vehicle supplied as part of this package.
Changing from the original Fuso wheel and tyre package to the much larger 40-inch super singles changes the rolling circumference of the tyres.
The vehicle speedometer computer is recalibrated by AAV4x4 to suit the installed wheel and tyre configuration as part of the conversion process.
The conversion incorporates 41mm visual wheel-nut movement indicators on the applicable wheel hardware.
Once positioned consistently, these provide a quick visual reference during normal vehicle walk-around inspections and can make wheel-nut movement easier to identify.
The vehicle package also incorporates a dedicated AAV4x4 Fuso wiring and electrical integration system.
The BOM includes vehicle-specific main wiring, lighting adapters and extensions, bull-bar and headlight integration, left and right rear-light wiring, fuse protection and a dedicated electrical mounting and distribution arrangement.
This provides an organised electrical foundation for the converted truck rather than relying on ad-hoc wiring additions during vehicle preparation.
This vehicle is supplied as a converted Crew Cab chassis, providing a base for the customer's chosen body or application.
It is particularly well suited to:
