52mm Black Fuel Gauge Pod / Gauge Mounting Cup – Unfitted

This 52mm black gauge pod provides a clean, compact mounting solution for a compatible fuel gauge or other standard 52mm automotive instrument.

Manufactured with a metal body and finished in black, the cup is designed to securely house a single 52mm (2-inch) gauge while allowing the instrument to be positioned independently of the vehicle’s original dashboard openings.

A rear access hole with a rubber grommet provides a protected route for electrical wiring, sender connections or mechanical gauge lines, allowing the pod to be used with both electrical and mechanical 52mm gauges.

Designed for 52mm Gauges

The mounting cup is designed around the common 52mm, or 2-inch, automotive gauge format.

This makes it suitable for a compatible 52mm fuel-level gauge as well as other instruments using the same body diameter, including:

Metal Construction

The pod uses a metal body rather than a moulded plastic enclosure, providing a solid housing for the installed gauge.

Its black finish gives the pod a simple appearance that integrates neatly into a wide range of truck, four-wheel-drive, motorhome and automotive interiors.

Rear Wiring Access

A dedicated opening in the rear of the cup provides access for the connections required by the installed gauge.

Depending on the gauge type, this opening can accommodate:

A rubber grommet is fitted around the rear opening to provide a smoother, protected edge where wiring or other connections pass through the metal housing.

Electrical and Mechanical Gauge Compatibility

The open rear design allows the mounting cup to be used with both electrical and mechanical gauge types.

For an electrical fuel gauge, the pod provides space for the gauge body while allowing the sender, power, earth and illumination wiring to exit through the rear.

The pod itself does not alter or condition the gauge signal. The installed gauge must be compatible with the vehicle voltage and the fuel-level sender being used.

Flexible Gauge Installation

A standalone gauge cup is useful where cutting a large instrument opening into the original dashboard is undesirable or where no suitable factory gauge position is available.

It allows a compatible gauge to be installed in an appropriate visible location while keeping the rear of the instrument and its connections enclosed.
